The New Faces Comedy Showcases began at the tail end of 2005 at Kitty Moon on Chicago's north side in an effort to give new and new to Chicago comics a shot at performing in front of a real (non-open mic) audience.
Now the New Faces Comedy Showcase takes place at The Edge Comedy Club at The Chicago Center for the Performing Arts (777 N. Green Street Chicago) on Thursday nights at 8:30.
Every week a fresh line-up of emerging, new to Chicago, and visiting comics to showcase their best 10 minutes of material. Always a lively audience and a wide range of talent and styles.

COMICS: If you are interested in performing on a New Faces Show please keep in mind that these shows are intended as an audition for other work with Edge Comedy. If you have no stage experience, are not comfortable doing 10 minutes of time, or simply plan on using other comedians jokes, do not sign up. This show is not an open mic, it is an actual showcase for paying customers to come see and their reaction will determine which comics recieve offers of future work.
