In late 2005 The Edge Comedy Shows found a new home on the far north side of Chicago. Pressure Billiards and Comedy Cafe is an all ages coffeehouse venue at 6318 N. Clark with an intimate caberet style feel. They now have a single serving liquor license too.
Over 200 comics have been showcased since November of 2005. The Edge Comedy Show guarantees the most diversified line-ups of comedians in Chicago as well as performers visiting from other cities, and even other countries.
In 2007 Edge Comedy entered into a partneship with The Chicago Center for the Performing Arts, where we have opened a full time comedy venue currently running at 8:30 every Wednesday and Friday and 10:30 every Saturday and Sunday.

In the fall of 2005 Dave Odd answered a request off Craiglist for a new venue in Edgewater that was looking for entertainment. In October Edge Comedy did a one off stand-up show at Pressure Cafe as well as started running a Wednesday night open mic. Those shows went so well we started doing shows every Saturday. Eventually the open mic was moved to Thursdays and as of December of 2006 Pressure is moving to a full time comedy venue. It is the only all ages stand up and Improv venue in the city of Chicago, and it's laid back caberet style vibe has made it a favorite venue for many Chicago stand-ups and comedy fans alike.
